Swiss National Park App privacy rules

You are using a guided tour mobile application created by the Swiss National Park.

No information is sent or processed on our servers and we undertake not to collect any personal information of any kind whatsoever.

Some functions in our applications may require the following permissions for local processing on your phone or tablet:

• Location: to display your location on the map, trigger location based content.

• Photos / Multimedia / Files and Storage: to store application content on your device to make sure the guided tours will not depend on a network connection.

• Camera: for augmented reality animations (when overlaying information on top of the camera flow) or augmented photo shooting. The photos are stored locally on your device, and never uploaded.

• Microphone: to create interactive games using microphone sounds. No recordings are made.

• Connect and disconnect from Wi-Fi: to initiate downloading of content or updates.

• Show network connections: to trigger downloading of additional content or updates.

• Disable your screen lock: to ensure that the triggered content is immediately visible

• Full network access: to start downloading content or updates.

• Control vibration: to improve notifications.

• Prevent device from sleeping: to ensure that the triggered content is immediately visible
