With the Mobi'1870 application, discover the battle of 6 August 1870, known as the “Battle of Reichshoffen”: a significant event in local history and a milestone in European construction. All around the battlefield, in Woerth, Morsbronn-les-Bains, Froeschwiller, further towards Reichshoffen,… there are 11 commemorative sites and monuments that will tell you about the Franco-Prussian conflict of 1870/71 and this tragic day of 6 August that still resonates with the heroic charge of the Cuirassiers and the sacrifice of the Algerian Riflemen, the Turcos.
